Everyone tries to avoid acidic rim cleaners these days, but it's easy to wrongly assume that "acid-free" or "non-acidic" rim cleaners are completely safe, when in fact they can be extremely corrosive. They can be even stronger than acidic rim cleaners and cause even more damage and destruction to your valuable rims.<\/p>\n
Even these color-changing rim cleaners can be a cause for concern, as their purple residue can stain sensitive components if not rinsed off completely.<\/p>\n
That's why we developed a pH-neutral rim cleaner using neutralized salts and strong detergents to create a rim cleaner that is as safe as possible (while still keeping your rims clean). No color change. No weird chemical reactions. Just good, honest (and SAFE!) cleaning.<\/p>\n
OK, our Dish Soap won't renovate rims covered in brake dust or clean them as well as the strongest products on the market, but for regularly cleaned and protected rims or rims with very sensitive finishes (anodized, chrome, etc.) it is the perfect choice.<\/p>\n
If the rims cost half the car's value (as is the case with some show cars) or you have a supercar with high-tech magnesium (or other specialized) rims, why risk cleaning them with the cheapest and worst products available?<\/p>\n
It's better to clean more carefully and gently with Dish Soap than to pay for renovation - or replacement.<\/p>\n
Available in a liter, ideal bottle size. Simply rinse the wheels with a pressure washer to remove loose dirt, spray Dish Soap onto the wheel face, spokes, drum and rim, spreading it with a wheel brush if necessary, and then rinse with water. Stubborn tar stains should be removed using a special tar remover such as Tarmageddon.
