PADDY by KiurLab is a professional polishing pad cleaner designed to remove polishing compound residue, wax, dirt, oil, and other contaminants that accumulate on pads during use. Thanks to its advanced formula, our PADDY pad cleaner thoroughly cleans sponge, microfiber, and wool pads, ensuring their longer life and improved performance.

Why is it worth using a dedicated PADDY polishing pad cleaner?

The cleanliness of polishing pads directly impacts their lifespan and the quality of your car's polishing. Using a dedicated polishing pad cleaner, such as PADDY, ensures the pad is thoroughly cleaned of polishing compound and dirt residue, resulting in more efficient work, reduced risk of damage to the polished surface, and longer durability of your polishing tools.

KiurLab's PADDY polishing pad cleaner ensures thorough removal of polishing paste residue and other common contaminants without damaging their delicate structure. The ready-to-use formula requires no additional dilution, significantly speeding up the cleaning process. Unlike universal or diluted, aggressive cleaners, PADDY works precisely and effectively, adapting its cleaning power to the specific dirt on polishing pads.

Advantages of PADDY pad cleaner

PADDY is a universal and effective pad cleaner that can be used with various types of polishing pads, including sponge, microfiber, and wool. It offers a number of significant advantages that make it an essential piece of equipment for any detailing studio.

  • The product is ready to use – it does not require dilution, which saves time and minimizes the risk of using too weak or too strong chemicals.
  • Deep cleans – removing dirt from both the surface and interior of the pad, dissolving it and making it easier to rinse. This significantly improves cleaning effectiveness and extends the pad's lifespan.
  • Versatile – PADDY can be used for hand washing, as well as in a washing machine or Pad Washer. In addition to polishing pads, it can also be used to quickly clean applicators and other accessories made of sponge or microfiber.
  • Economical to use – thanks to its high efficiency, PADDY ensures effective cleaning at minimal cost. By using a dedicated polishing pad cleaner, you'll be able to enjoy your polishing pads longer and replace them less often.

How to use the PADDY pad cleaner

To fully utilize the effectiveness of PADDY cleaner and ensure its safe use, follow the instructions on the packaging. This will ensure best results and avoid problems related to improper use. Also, remember to thoroughly rinse the cleaner from the pad after cleaning to minimize the risk of damaging the polished surface.

Pre-soaking the pads

While regular pad cleaning typically doesn't require pre-soaking, we recommend pre-soaking old or particularly stubborn dirt. This will soften the dirt, making its subsequent removal less risky to the delicate structure of the polishing pad.

  • Shake the bottle vigorously to mix its contents.
  • Pour the appropriate amount of PADDY (approximately 50 ml per 5 l of water) into a bowl of warm water.
  • Soak the pads in the solution for several hours.
  • Rinse the pads thoroughly with clean, warm water.
  • After the initial soaking, you can start cleaning the pads properly.

Cleaning the polishing pad using the trigger

  • Shake the bottle vigorously to mix its contents.
  • Spray the pad surface generously with PADDY cleaner using the trigger.
  • Knead the pad as if hand-washing to remove dirt from its surface and interior.
  • If possible, use a dedicated pad cleaning brush.
  • Rinse the pad thoroughly under running warm water to remove any remaining cleaning agent.
  • Squeeze out excess water and allow the pad to dry.
  • Cleaning the polishing pad with the Pad Washer

  • Shake the bottle vigorously to mix its contents.
  • Spray the pad surface generously with PADDY cleaning agent using the trigger.
  • Use a Pad Washer to remove accumulated dirt.
  • Once cleaning is complete, rinse the pads and spin them using the Pad Washer.
  • Washing pads in the washing machine

PADDY can also be used to wash pads in a washing machine. However, make sure the pads are suitable for this purpose, especially to ensure they won't be physically damaged during washing.

  • Shake the bottle vigorously to mix the contents thoroughly.
  • Measure approximately 50 ml of PADDY and add it to the laundry.
  • Wash pads at 40°C.
  • Once you have finished washing, leave the pads to dry.
