SiNH Base Coat is a professional product that requires specialized knowledge for application. For this reason, it is only available in authorized Innovacar detailing centers. After using the product, an official, unique certificate is issued confirming the treatment performed thanks to the serial number placed on a holographic sticker that comes with the product and identifies each individual bottle.
SiNH Base Coat by Innovacar is a ceramic coating for cars that combines the exclusive Si-NH technology with the flexibility of resin, creating a modern, top-class ceramic coating.
The resin gives it flexibility, while the Si-NH technology adds strength, making it the most resistant ceramic coating in the Innovacar product line in terms of durability and surface protection.
This is a professional service available only at authorized Innovacar centers. This is to ensure controlled application by specialists who have received specific training in correct use. Combined with SiNH Top Coat, these are our most durable products, providing the greatest protection and water repellency.
Main features*:
- Flexibility and self-healing: we have combined the flexibility of resin with the resistance of exclusive Si-NH technology. This helps prevent cracks during temperature changes. In summer, the bodywork tends to "stretch" and the coating prevents cracking. Moreover, at high temperatures, for example in the sun and in summer, it allows for self-repair of micro-scratches. Especially when applied in layers 2-3 times, it simulates the effect of protective PPF film, absorbs shock and causes less damage;
- Hardness and resistance: withstands temperatures up to 600 °C, making it suitable for use on brake pads. It is also resistant to UV radiation, corrosion, acids and alkanes, acid rain and limestone;
- Abrasion resistance tests carried out in external certified laboratories, simulating washing a car in an automatic car wash using alkaline spray and quartz powder, showed that it is twice as resistant to abrasion as a surface that has not been treated in accordance with the ISO 20566:2013 standard;
- Certified long service life: tests in certified external laboratories monitored changes in gloss (ISO 20566:2013) and surface hydrophobicity in both automatic and manual washing cycles, confirming a service life of up to 5-6 years (approximately 90,000 km or up to 72 washes). In combination with SiNH Top Coat, durability is extended to 9-11 years.
- Speed: Formulated with a fast drying time of 20 minutes to speed up the application of the second step of SiNH Top Coat, thereby reducing waiting time;
- Ease of use: Ease of application is a key feature of this product. You can use it without infrared lamps because the coating catalyzes at room temperature. Easy to apply also in summer.
- Water Resistance: Although this is a base coat, it provides oil and water repellent effects;
- Color depth: provides color depth even on matte cars;
- Multi-tasking: it can be used on rims, aluminum, steel and plastic elements;
- Safety: it is free from PFAS and meets the requirements for the content of volatile organic compounds (VOC) in accordance with Directive 2004/42/EC and with the analysis method in accordance with UNI EN ISO 11890-1:2008;
Average consumption: 30 ml per vehicle.
The application and user-friendly properties of SiNH products guarantee lower product consumption per car, i.e. 30 ml of the product corresponds to 50 ml of traditional ceramic coatings available on the market.

*The given washing cycles are the result of tests carried out by two independent external laboratories. The first test was to check whether the contact angle had changed from the initial state, using wash cycles with SP1 Prewash; the second test was to check whether the coating remained after automatic washing cycles, using a chemical product and quartz powder in accordance with ISO 20566:2013;
*Durability and mileage figures for the entire Innovacar coating product line are based on the results of on-site durability testing with the support of our national and international partners in various parts of the world. The tests were carried out in extremely different climatic and environmental conditions:
- Mumbai (India): due to the fact that it is a metropolis with high levels of smog and a tropical climate.
- Moscow (Russia): due to very low temperatures.
- Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates): due to the heat of the climate and frequent sandstorms.
- Major European capitals: where weather and road conditions are certainly more "standard".
Throughout the testing period, the Innovacar coating was washed on average once a month, and it was not always possible to follow the recommended maintenance schedule for the Innovacar coating, allowing us to simulate the worst-case scenario. The results obtained and opinions from our partners show that the weighted average service life of our coatings is approximately 15,000 km per year.
