Evoxa Thrust Plate BPDA 125mm FI 8

Backing plate for Dual Action polishers with a diameter of 125 mm. Weight 128 grams. Fits Evox HDC15 / HDC21 / HDD21 models
It can be adapted to Evox HDA15 / HDA21 by reducing the depth of the socket with an additional washer adapted to the socket.
The socket has a hole with a diameter of 8 mm in which, depending on the machine model, screws with M8 thread (HDA15 / HDA21) or 5/16″ UNF (HDC15 / HDC21) can be used.

For polishers from other manufacturers, it is recommended to check the fit of the seat, its depth and the seating of the entire disc in relation to the eccentric cover.

The advantage of this thrust plate is very well-designed ventilation channels with a large cross-sectional area. They are made radially in a flexible polyurethane layer, directly under the so-called adhesive layer. Velcro. They are connected to large ventilation holes and, catching air during the rotation of the plate, effectively cool the polishing pads on the Velcro side, protecting them from falling apart. A huge advantage of this solution is also the separation of the pad from the heat generated by the bearings of the eccentric mechanism.
 

Attention!!!
For Evoxa machines, we use three different 125 mm thrust plates with this type of socket. The plates differ in weight and seat depth, as well as visually in the color of the polyurethane layer and ventilation holes. Not all of them are always available and therefore we are not responsible for problems with adapting the plates to machines from other manufacturers!!!
