The pad is made of open-cell foam from a European manufacturer. The unique white insert glued between the velor (Velcro) and the foam in combination with open cells significantly reduces the temperature on the paint surface by limiting the impact of heat coming from the Dual Action polisher's eccentric bearings and also improves the mechanical strength of the adhesive joint.
