Evoxa HDX 8 - orbital car polisher

Evoxa HDX8 Mk II – this is the second generation of planetary polishers, intended for professional use. It is an eccentric polisher with a stroke of 8 mm with the X-Drive system which forces the rotation of the work plate using an additional set of gears. With a stroke of 8 mm, this polisher offers work efficiency on flat surfaces comparable to Dual Action polisher with a stroke of 21 mm and is definitely superior to them on rounded, concave or embossed surfaces thanks to the high eccentric speed and constant rotation of the disc.

Compared to the first version, a lot of design changes have been introduced that translate into comfort of work. What catches the eye is a completely new housing design, which is very ergonomic and compact. It is made of good quality material with Soft Grip inserts on the front and rear handles. The characteristic handle at the front of the machine has been profiled in such a way that it constitutes an ergonomic extension of the head cover and provides a firm grip for people who like large heads. People who prefer more compact housings can completely dismantle it and work with a smaller but equally well-shaped head.
There are rubberized feet on the back of the housing for convenient and safe placing of the machine on the floor, and a 5-meter soft and non-twisting power cable is inserted into the housing using a movable ball holder.
 

The next big changes took place inside the machine. The second generation received a 30% more powerful 1200W engine with the same good build quality as its predecessor and the same mounted on NSK brand bearings. The electronics controlling the speed is equipped with the Soft Start system and effective speed stabilization with a rotor speed sensor. A new type of switch with a lock at a set speed was also used.
The eccentric system with the rotation forcing unit is also completely new. This improved the comfort of driving the machine and reduced its noise and vibrations. All bearings of the angular gear and the eccentric system are also proven, branded NSK.
Thanks to the use of new construction materials in the X-Drive system and an aluminum-composite cover, the weight of the machine was reduced to 2.5 kg. It is currently the lightest planetary polisher on the market and has the most powerful engine.

 

An important element that many companies have problems with is the backing plate for mounting polishing pads. The structural part is made of laminate, which guarantees that it will not tear as a result of the large forces accompanying the operation of the eccentric. The mounting system has also changed. It is no longer fastened with one central screw in contact with the bearing pin, but with 6 Allen screws distributed evenly around the circumference, which limited the heat conduction from the bearings towards the pad. In addition, the design of the work plate itself has also changed. It is no longer integrated with the drive gear, which reduces its costs when replacing it.  

Thanks to such technical characteristics and ergonomic casing, the machine is very comfortable to use and its effectiveness positively surprises many supporters of branded polishers while maintaining an attractive price level.

The polisher is covered by a 24-month warranty, even when used professionally. It is possible to extend the warranty in the EVO+ service system.
