Cerium dioxide – window polishing agent.
It is available in the form of a powder that is mixed with the appropriate amount of water to obtain a thick mass. Then it is applied to the scratch and the surface is polished using a polishing disc made of felt and a polishing machine or drill. The drill speed should not exceed 600 rpm.
Using cerium dioxide, polish the scratch evenly, not staying on one part for too long. It is best to also polish the area around the scratch. Do not polish the scratch in one place for a long time to avoid creating a lens, i.e. a recess in the polished place.
Preparation of the finished solution:
- Cerium dioxide should be mixed with water using a ratio of 100 g of powder per 90 ml of water.
- After mixing the ingredients, we obtain a paste.
- Using the prepared paste, we will remove minor scratches, degrease the windows and remove discolorations.
Capacity: 100 g
