Dodo Juice Black Widow 150ml - hybrid wax designed for black, dark varnishes

Hybrid waxes are a combination of the highest quality natural waxes (such as carnauba) and sealants. This means they provide the best of both worlds. Great filling, improved gloss, water shedding and easy access to waxed elements. 

Black widow has excellent durability (including solvent/heat resistance) and gloss.

Black Widow is based on our award-winning Supernatural Hybrid formula, but with a healthy dose of montana wax thrown into the mix, giving it a jet black appearance. Perfect for black or dark varnish.

Of course, you can use any colored wax on any colored car, but our dye tests showed a 2-4% increase in color saturation gain.

It is also worth noting that we always recommend hybrid waxes to customers with metallic or pearl-colored cars, because the sealing component gives a little more reflections and shine than regular carnauba waxes. And because they are heat resistant, you can use hybrid waxes as dedicated wheel sealants. Does anyone have black wheels?

Spacing between layers? Approximately every 4-6 months, in the case of a car we use every day. In a garaged car that is used occasionally, we would probably re-wax the car once a year.

Our advice:

Put a thin layer of wax on the protected element, wait a few minutes and finish with a fluffy microfiber. The effect will be much better if we put at least two coats on the varnish.
