The pad is characterized by good temperature dissipation, and the holes in the sponge are resistant to clogging with abrasive from the polishing paste. Strong Velcro prevents the pad from falling off the polishing machine. The edge milled at the right angle facilitates driving the machine and is resistant to damage.
